Membership renewal and payment of fees are due by 31 October each year. A late payment fee will apply if you pay after this date and FOB access to the club will be denied. Only financial members are covered by SLSNSW Insurance and iCare (formerly WorkCover) and entitled to member benefits. In order to safeguard our junior and young adult members from abuse, the club in conjunction with the State Life Saving body have developed a members protection policy. Under this policy it is a members responsibility to report any inappropriate act against a junior or young adult member. Full details of the clubs member protection policy can be obtained from the Executive Officer at freshwaterslsc. See also Club By-Law 13 which sets out the club's Code of Conduct for all members. All members of the club over the age of 18 must complete this Prohibited Employment Declaration. As membership forms are returned, individual members' records will be checked to ensure that the declaration has previously been completed. If not, you will be contacted and asked to complete the declaration as soon as possible. Your membership renewal will not be completed until a completed declaration is received. Some members due to their role within the club will be required to get a Working with Children Number and they will be advised.
