Membership Renewal for Existing Members Only (NOT junior activity members)
Please find below Freshwater SLSC membership renewal information for the 2016/17 season.
All membership renewals become due on 1 July each year and need to be completed prior to the 30 September each year. Keep in mind that after that date a late payment fee of $20 will be incurred and FOB access to the club will be denied.
Note: All members regardless if they pay a fee or not must complete a membership form either renewing online or returning the signed membership form to the club.
Members are requested to carefully check and update their contact details on the renewal forms. Particular attention needs to be paid to First Name, Last Name, DOB and contact details (especially mobile & email address).
Renew Membership & Pay Online (MEMBERS PORTAL)
Attention All Members: Renewing through Members Portal is our preferred method of renewing. Click on the Accessing the Members Portal Login screen link below and either login to your account or create a new account.
When creating your new Members Portal account you can only use the Membership Details that are recorded in the National Membership database (Surfguard). If you have recently been emailed or posted a Membership Renewal form please make sure you use the First Name, Last Name, Date of Birth, Email and Mobile listed on the form. An email address is compulsory to create a Members Portal Account.
Once you have created and activated your account and logged in you will see the Lifesaving Online tab. When you select the Lifesaving Online tab you will see all the sub-tabs relating to Lifesaving Online. You can renew your membership, pay for your membership, update your membership details, view your Awards and view your Patrol hours & roster.
PLEASE REMEMBER THAT RENEWAL IS A TWO PART PROCESS, ONE IS THE RENEWAL/UPDATING OF YOUR DETAILS AND THE OTHER IS THE PAYMENT. YOU MUST DO BOTH OR YOUR MEMBERSHIP IS NOT ACCEPTED.

When the account is created follow these instructions:-
Once you have created your Members Portal account and logged in please follow these steps to successfully renew and pay online.
Step 1: Renew Your Membership:
► Click on Lifesaving Online
► Click on Renew
► Update any details that may need to change and then tick the Declaration boxes and SUBMIT, this takes you to the Success window.
NB: Members who do not need to pay fees still need to renew their membership either online or by returning signed forms each year.
Step 2: Pay Online:
AGAIN, PLEASE REMEMBER THAT RENEWAL IS A TWO PART PROCESS, ONE IS THE RENEWAL/UPDATING OF YOUR DETAILS AND THE OTHER IS THE PAYMENT. YOU MUST DO BOTH OR YOUR MEMBERSHIP IS NOT ACCEPTED.
While still online - at the “Success” window click on Online Payments or under the heading MAKE A PAYMENT you can Click here if you wish to pay online and this will take you directly to the Online Payment Gateway.
At the Online Payment window then:
► it will either come up already as Freshwater being the entity to pay or if you belong to more than one club, then select the club.
► Choose the Transaction Type you are paying for, each person, and enter each different payment on a new line e.g.
► To confirm the clubs price list Click “View Price List” and then enter an amount on each transaction line and then Submit
► Enter your payment details
► A receipt will be emailed to you and to the club verifying your payment
To Update Details Only
Click on Personal Details and update any details that may need to change and then tick the Declaration boxes and submit.
If you do not wish to renew or pay your fees online there are a number of payment options available to members for renewal of their annual fees. You can –
- Make a DIRECT DEPOSIT to the account details outlined on the payment form from the link provided below. You must return a copy of your completed membership form and advise you paid by Direct Debit to the club together with the completed payment form to freshwaterslsc or by post to PO Box 308, Freshwater NSW 2096 or by lodging in person at the club office. If paying by DIRECT DEPOSIT YOU MUST PUT YOUR NAME INTO THE DESCRIPTION!!!
- Pay by CREDIT CARD by completing the payment form provided in the link below. You must return a copy of your completed membership form to the club together with the completed payment form to freshwaterslsc or by post to PO Box 308, Freshwater NSW 2096 or by lodging in person at the club office.
- Pay in person by cash or credit card, by coming to the office during office hours - Mon to Wed & Fri, from 10am to 4pm and Sunday morning from 9am to 11am.

RENEWING AS A FAMILY GROUP Online (Please click here if you are interested in renewing as a family group)
Family Groups are a mechanism to "Group" members who are in one club, to allow for bulk management of data. Family Group Creation allows for the following tasks to be performed in Lifesaving Online (LSO) in the Members Portal:
1. Apply to create a family group consisting of members in a club
Season 2016/17 Member Protection ( Working With Children) Volunteer Declaration Form:
All members of the club over the age of 18 must complete a Prohibited Employment Declaration. The majority of club members have now done so. As membership forms are returned, individual members' records will be checked to ensure that the declaration has previously been completed. If not, you will be contacted and asked to complete the declaration as soon as possible. Your membership renewal will not be completed until a completed declaration is received. Some members due to their role within the club will be required to get a Working with Children Number and they will be advised.
