General information about our functions & conference rooms

Located on Freshwater Beach, the Freshwater Surf Life Saving Club provides a relaxed and casual atmosphere for your special event. Established in 1908, our rich history is reflected in our Club rooms, which are now available for your wedding, engagement or other special event. 

Our food and beverage services are provided by a select group of award winning caterers.  Choose from one of their wide range of menu options or they will design a menu especially for your special event.  Alternatively you may choose to use your own caterers.

All proceeds from function room hire go straight back into the club to assist with the on-going purchase of vital life saving equipment as well as training new patrolling lifesavers and keeping our current patrol members up-to-date with the latest lifesaving techniques. 

With the combination of the location of Freshwater Surf Life Saving Club and our preferred caterers as event managers, your special event is sure to be memorable.

All information and prices contained herein may be subject to change without notice. Hire of function rooms is subject to a non-refundable deposit, a bond and other conditions as outlined in Agreement for Function Hall Hire. 

Please Note: Freshwater SLSC is not available for 18th birthday celebrations or end-of-school functions.  The function rooms may be available for 21st birthday parties subject to certain conditions as approved by the Executive Committee of the Freshwater Surf Life Saving Club.
