Under the umbrella of the Australian Lifesaving Academy, Freshwater SLSC provide education and training in nationally recognised courses.

The education and training team at Freshwater provides opportunities for members to constantly add new skills and increased capabilities for patrolling the beach.
- Awards Qualification Chart 1v3 (which covers areas up to Bronze and includes Junior, First Aid and Training Awards)
- Awards Qualification Chart 2 (covers Bronze and above and includes Surf Survial, Surf Rescue Certificate and onwards)

Do you want to share your knowledge, skills and experience and become a SLSNSW Trainer, Assessor or Facilitator?
In addition the team review and assess the proficiency of all club members throughout the season.
