Proficiency testing is a vital part of maintaining our level of skill

Patrol Season - Saturday 19th September, 2015 - Mondsay 25th April, 2016

On behalf of the Executive of Freshwater SLSC we would like to take this opportunity to thank each and everyone of you for volunteering your much appreciated hours put in patrolling the best beach on the Northern Beaches.

All patrol members and any competing long serving members are required to complete an annual proficiency test.  These requirements are set out in the following circular as issued by SLSA.

Proficiency Requirements are subject to revision. Please check to ensure circulars or memos provided are current, by going to Surf Life Saving NSW website. Where both new and old circulars can be found in their circulars archive.

Proficiency dates are set out early in the season and it is recommended that you attend early. This avoids the last minute rush and the chance that work/illness/misadventure prevents you undertaking your proficiency later. Most awards require an annual test.

Proficiency Dates:

Bronze Medallion/Surf Rescue Certificate/ARTC and Spinal

Saturday 17 December 11am
Sunday 18 December 11am

NOTE:  These dates will also be listed on  FreshNET

For current patrol members, either register on FreshNet or email education@freshwaterslsc.com the date you wish to do your proficiency.
